All-Inclusive Honeymoon Resorts You'll Love

When you're on your honeymoon all you want to think about is romance, not how much each little thing is costing. That's why all-inclusive honeymoon resorts are so popular.
The basic idea behind all-inclusive honeymoon resorts is this: You pay one price in advance and get all the amenities. No more being nickel and dimed to death. Of course, what these packages include will vary widely from one offer to the next.
Resorts that cater to honeymooners really go all out. They include a luxurious room with those romantic "extras" that let you know you're on your honeymoon: built-in tub large enough for two; couple's massages; romantic dinners. Not that these things are free, of course. It's part of the price built in to the deal. It's just that you don't have to think about it during your honeymoon.
Where might you find such wonderful all-inclusive honeymoon resorts?
St. Lucia - Caribbean
There are a dozen top resorts in St. Lucia that offer fabulous all-inclusive honeymoons. Ladera, for example, offers complimentary room service. Each room has a Jacuzzi big enough for two, so you can stay indoors all day if you want. But the beach is right outside and the view is included. With only 6 villas and 21 suites, you'll find the privacy and seclusions you seek.
Get out in the sunshine and go horseback riding, included as part of the all-inclusive package. Or, go enjoy some water sports, tour the jungle or just laze around at the pool. Then go visit the Ti Kai Pose spa and get truly pampered.
Or, you may want to consider Jade Mountain, ranked #3 in the "Top 100 Hotels" category in the Travel + Leisure reader's poll. Their "Total Romance" package includes a one-hour Swedish Massage, a 1/2 day Jungle Biking in Anse Mamin Valley, and a half day of sailing on the skippered resort yacht, Serenity.
Belize
Belize is another spot that always ranks high on lists of best all-inclusive honeymoon resorts. Several hotels there offer all-inclusive honeymoon packages that include an incredible variety of activities: kayaking, Hobie Cats, rainforest waterfalls and much more.
Stay at Kanantik Reef and Jungle Resort and go scuba diving at no extra charge. Wander around the surrounding 300 acres and be fascinated by all the jungle wildlife. Take the 45-minute boat ride to the island's huge barrier reef and see the hundreds of species that populate the area.
Or, check out Blancaneaux, one of three hotels owned by Francis Ford Coppola, located in the foothills of the Mountain Pine Ridge National Park. This fabulous resort was chosen in 2009 by Travel + Leisure reader's poll as the #1 resort in Central and South America.
Their deluxe honeymoon package includes 4-nights in a thatch-roof honeymoon cabaña overlooking the waterfalls of Privassion Creek. This all-inclusive package treats you to a swim at Big Rock Falls, a paddle adventure exploring a cavern once used by the Mayans as a ceremonial center, and a full-day tour exploring Belize's largest and Mayan site. And, of course a spa treatment for two after a day of exploration.
Riviera Maya - Mexico
Mexico is a very popular honeymoon destination, and the El Dorado Seaside Suites on Riviera Maya is one of the top all-inclusive resorts in Mexico, having been listed as one of the most romantic hotels by Forbes Magazine. An adults-only resort, the El Dorado Seaside is perfect for relaxing on the beach. But, if you can tear yourself away from the inviting beach lined with hammocks and thatched-roof beach beds, you'll also find archeological ruins and butterfly caves nearby just waiting to be explored.
Hawaii
Well, now, who wouldn't want to honeymoon in Hawaii? And one all-inclusive honeymoon resort worth mentioning is the Kona Village Resort on 82 acres of tamed Hawaiian tropical jungle, featuring lagoons, black beaches, black lava, and orchids. There are 125 individual thatched bungalows on these 82 acres, with more than half an acre for one bungalow. Now, just so you know, there are no TVs, no radios, and no in-room telephones. But, there's plenty to do: the use of snorkel gear, kayaks, boogie boards and surfboards is included. Don't forget to take time to explore Hawaii's volcanoes at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
